Our mission
At our core, we’re just two people with a passion for plants. As our journey into becoming plant owners grew, we realized the wonderful benefits of owning plants and bringing the outdoors in. plants pulled at our attention - in the best way. we learned to slow down, to patiently wait while our plants grew, and to enjoy the good feels that it gave us. we are here to share with you the happiness that comes with slowing down and appreciating all that being a plant owner has to offer.
Meet the owners
We are karli and jacob, owners of vinyl vines plant co. We thought we’d take a moment to introduce ourselves and what we’re all about. plants came into our lives slowly, adding a few here and there to help elevate the design and mood of our spaces. a few organic gardening classes drew karli into a deeper respect and love for plants, but it wasn’t until we were visiting close friends in chicago that we found our passion. our friends showed us all of their new plants and ones they were starting from seed. after that weekend, jacob bought multiple seed packets and the journey grew from there. Stepping into our plant room feels like the exhale of a deep breath and its such an asset to our home to have a space to unwind. we love sharing our joy of plants with our family and friends and wanted to find a way to share with our community.
we’re sure you’re wondering about the vinyl part, huh? we both have a love of music and it’s usually a running joke on which do we have more of, plants or vinyls? (if you’re wondering, we’ve been keeping it pretty even as of late). Just like owning plants, there’s something comforting about the time it takes to find an album, dust it off, drop the needle, and listen. it’s slowing down and taking time to enjoy the artist.
